Recently, The Muttart Foundation published the 2013 edition of it’s annual “Talking About Charities” survey. The survey, conducted by the Social Science Research Laboratories at the University of Saskatchewan, reached out to more than 3800 people to explore the current state of public opinion regarding charities in Canada.
The survey shows that generally, Canadians’ outlook on charitable organizations remains stable and positive. However, there has been a noticeable decline in the level of trust in certain types of organizations including environmental charities, places of worship and international organizations.
