Holistically transforming the Kibera slum
Over one million Kenyans live in Kibera, the largest slum in Africa. The people there face many hardships and dangers, including poverty and unemployment, HIV/AIDS, witchcraft, natural disaster and regional instability. Access to education is limited, and at-risk abandoned children wander the slums. These challenges hinder the development of the country and its people.
