The conflict in Myanmar has displaced hundreds of thousands of people. Children are particularly vulnerable to militias that pass through towns and cities. The militia conscripted children to be camp helpers and force boys to take up arms. Your gift will go towards our network of ‘Grace Haven’ hostels that care for and protect children who are vulnerable to exploitation.

‘Skolombo Boys’ and ’Lacasera Girls’ are homeless children who beg for alms and scavenge for recyclable materials on the street. From roaming the street for survival in bands, some have formed into criminal gangs. They have been associated with incidents of robbery, kidnapping, rape, pick-pocketing, and drug abuse. TETMI serves the needs of these street kids and vulnerable youth in the town of Calabar by providing outreach, care and mentoring.

Amidst the war in Ukraine, our Moldovan partner has significantly extended its aid to include Ukrainian women and children, providing comprehensive assistance to single mothers, at-risk women, and sex-trafficking victims.
