Empowering and sharing God’s love in India
Across India, people are vulnerable to extreme oppression, exploitation and lack of opportunity. Necessities like education are limited, perpetuating a vicious cycle of generational poverty that forces people to accept low paying, manual labour positions. Ethnic conflict causes division among people groups. Superstition, spirit worship and drug addiction plague communities. The nation also has the highest number of human trafficking rates in the world. The diversity and hardship that exists in India present many opportunities to share and demonstrate Christ’s love.
