G98.7FM Radiothon to fight Ebola

G98.7FM JOINS PARTNERS INTERNATIONAL TO HOST A RADIOTHON IN SUPPORT OF THOSE AFFECTED BY THE EBOLA CRISIS IN WESTERN AFRICA

G98.7FM has joined Partners International Canada for a live all day radio-thon fundraiser to raise money to help fight Ebola on Sunday December 7th from 6am to 11pm Live on G98 7FM.

Partners International Canada is a not-for-profit organization which operates in over 100 countries worldwide, specializing in holistic development that transforms lives and communities. Their mission is to mobilize Canadians into partnership with indigenous leaders to bring long-term sustainable development to the least reached and resourced parts of the world.

G98.7FM is a commercial radio station with a diverse staff and listenership offering a Blackmusic format loved by people of all cultural backgrounds. The music includes R&B, Soul,Reggae, Soca, Hip Hop, Gospel, African rhythms and Smooth Jazz. The station also offers a vibrant talk show, news and other current affairs programming.

Support those affected by Ebola!

With no cure and a high mortality rate, prevention and education is crucial to stop the spread. Our ministry partners in Liberia as well as Guinea and Sierra Leone will provide emergency assistance to targeted rural and urban communities. They will bring awareness about the Ebola Virus, explain prevention methods, answer any questions about the disease that residents may have, distribute packages and train local leaders to educate others.
