The Discovery Program is a specialized educational program of Partners International Canada, designed especially to provide on-site, internationally-based opportunities and engagement with indigenous organizations. Discovery Trips take participants to remote locations around the world that are otherwise difficult to access. Participants with an interest in holistic Christian mission come from an array of vocational backgrounds. Through their experiences, participants will verify the effectiveness of Partners International projects based on their site visit and serve as “Canadian Ambassadors” during their educational trip.
Discovery Trips give donors the opportunity to see first-hand some of the many excellent Canadian-funded Partners International projects. Local projects are led and operated by local ministries who deliver “holistic mission.” These unique Christian organizations run an array of programs and services, which address the needs of high-risk, disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. Canadians will experience first- hand the challenges faced by tribal people living in remote areas and become familiar with the tangible impact made through holistic development programs.
