Wishing you a very special Christmas Season from all of us at Partners International Canada. The power of Christmas is evident as our many partners, working in some of the world’s most challenging places take time to celebrate. I have attended gift distributions to Calcutta slum children and while Christmas may not be celebrated in their homes, the special time connected to the “Good News for all people”, proclaimed by the angels is a time that they cherish. The year-round programs that these children benefit from are because of the generosity of Canadians like you.
A generous gift to someone lacking basic necessities is still possible. All gifts in our Hope in Action gift catalogue are a piece of a holistic transformational Christian program. These programs are geared to radically change the places where they are at work. We are not just wanting to bring progress, aid or help people. Through the application of your gift, which is part of a bigger community development program we see transformation of lives, families and whole communities happening in slums, neglected groups, children-at-risk contexts and places where oppression of Christians is common.
