Our latest story comes from Pastor Rob Miner of Long Branch Baptist Church, Toronto:

“In November 2013 one of our church Elders, Rohan Archer and I had the opportunity to teach God’s Word to about 90 enthusiastic church leaders and budding church leaders in southeastern Cuba in joint venture with Dave Hunt of Partners International Canada and the Baptist Convention of Eastern Cuba (BCEC).”

The church in Cuba is growing at a rapid rate. BCEC have planted 800 church plants and that number continues to grow. Pastor Rob and Long Branch Baptist have taken part in a training initiative in Cuba in order to train leaders to establish healthy churches that will be able to stand against false doctrine.

“The doors are opening in Cuba and the Spirit of God is moving in a great way to multiply disciples and churches. I highly recommend this experience to other solid church leaders in Canada.”
– Pastor Rob

“The students are precious servants of Christ who cannot afford seminary training and these opportunities are among the very few that they have available. I have been on three mission teaching trips and this had to be the best one of all.”

Rev Joel, Executive President of BCEC shares that Pastor Rob was able to baptize believers of a local church that Long Branch Baptist in Canada has been supporting saying, “these are the joys of sharing in ministry together and we invite you to consider both supporting and visiting the missionaries here.”

Pastor Rob continues by saying, “The doors are opening in Cuba and the Spirit of God is moving in a great way to multiply disciples and churches. I highly recommend this experience to other solid church leaders in Canada.”

Partners International Canada would like to thank Pastor Rob, Rohan Archer and the church of Long Branch Baptist in Toronto for their continual support and encouragement to the workers in Cuba. Through people and churches like you, we are able to partner with local ministries and join their God given vision, having an impact in the lives of those in need worldwide.
