Jennifer Kilback — Board Chair

Jennifer Kilback, CPA, CGA is Chief Business Officer at Hyper Hippo Entertainment, an award-winning mobile game studio dedicated to making entertainment that has a positive impact on the world. In her role at Hyper Hippo she brings critical thinking, business expertise, risk analysis and exceptional people-centered processes to everything the company does. Ann Chow — Vice-Chair

Ann brings a wealth of experience as a global strategist, planner, speaker and trainer in conference planning and project management for over 25 years. Her passion for integrating innovative and collaborative ideas into conferences, projects and strategic planning provides the next step for organizations locally and globally to build a more hope-filled future.

Monica Elfstedt — Treasurer

Monica Elfstedt, CPA, CGA is currently the VP Support Services / CFO for ASBA (Alberta Boiler Safety Association), and mother of 2. She brings 20 years of Financial Controller and Management Consulting experience, primarily focusing on corporate strategy, finance and risk management.

Mat Stevenson — Secretary

Mat Stevenson, P. Eng. is a research engineer who works on projects in energy and environmental clean up.

Frances Choi — Director

Frances works at McLean & Company, where she partners with HR leaders by providing evidence-based solutions to human resource challenges. Prior to this, Frances served for many years with the Alliance in Canada as part of their Global Ministries team and more recently as the Director of Leader Development and has served on staff at her local church. Frances studied Business and Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University and is certified as a Birkman coach. She lives in the Greater Toronto Area with her husband and two children.

Laurie George Busuttil — Director

Laurie George Busuttil is a Professor at Redeemer University in Ancaster, ON, teaching in the management, marketing and not-for-profit management concentrations in the Redeemer School of Business. She has over 30 years experience in industry and the not-for-profit sectors, she holds an MBA from McMaster University and an MTS from McMaster Divinity College.

Michel Fahmy — Director

Michel is a versatile businessman with vast experience in international business. Michel has over 20 years of experience in various fields including Sales, Marketing and General Management. In that time, he has worked for a number of large international companies, like Procter & Gamble and L’Oreal, where he most recently led NYX cosmetics in California. As President of ALDO Group International (AGI), he oversees the development of franchised stores in more than 100 countries around the world. 

 

Peggy Grall — Director

Peggy Grall is a semi-retired Certified Executive Coach and former psychotherapist with 25+ years of experience in the areas of helping people and organizations navigate individual and organizational change. These days, she provides leadership support to non-profit organizations and her local church.

Harding Ng — Director

Harding Ng was a practicing medical doctor for 15 years before answering God’s call to enter the pastorate for the next 25 years in Toronto Christian Community Church, where he is now Emeritus Consulting Pastor. He is still committed to doing discipleship and leadership development both locally and overseas through many mission trips.

Matthew Thompson — Director

Matthew Thompson (CFA, LLM) is currently the Chief Compliance Officer for Nasdaq Canadian stock exchange, responsible for the exchange’s regulatory and governance programs. With over 20 years experience in the financial services industry and five years experience as a corporate secretary Matthew brings expertise in governance, law, regulation and compliance. Matthew is originally from Halifax and resides in Toronto.

Stone Yu — Director

Stone is the CEO of Lucullus Bakery. He has experience in the food industry and handles quality control, marketing, and franchisee relations.

Stone has been on multiple short-term mission trips across underdeveloped parts of Southeast Asia. He is passionate about charitable work that makes meaningful contributions to those in need. He is also a director at MRVCBA (Markham Richmond Hill Vaughan Chinese Business Association). Stone studied Linguistics and Renaissance Studies at UofT.
